Service was good. The prawns were very good. There were 6 of us in the party and only 1 said there entree was good. The beautiful piece of halibut was dry three of us had it all were dry. The gnocchi was over cooked. The New York steak was ok over priced. This is the second tome we have been there 2 strikes I’m done. Really sad nice decor and view. They really need a new chef.

CHAUSTER BUFFET
THIS NEW ITALIAN JUST OPEN BUT WAS DISAPPOINTED HOW THEY OFFER THE SAME DISHES THAT OTHER PLACES OFFER. I WAS HOPING NEW DISHES THAT NOBODY OFFER. THE WELL DONE PASTA WITH POMODORA SAUCE WAS SO GOOD. THE BAKE CHICKEN HAS NO FLAVOR ONCE SKIN IS REMOVE. THE TOMAHAWK STEAK WAS NOT SWEET AND TOO MUCH FAT. THERE IS NO FLAVOR ON VEGGIES.THE CHOP SALAD WAS LACK OF FLAVOR AND IT HAS THE NASTY DRY GORBANZO BEAN.GRILL OCTOPUS WAS TOO CHEWY AND TOO MUCH ASH. CIOPPINO WAS SO GOOD BUT THE HARD BREAD RUIN IT.THERE IS NO TV TO WATCH SPORTS.MOST GUESTS AT THE BAR DID NOT ORDER MUCH FOOD.IT HAS A NICE WATER VIEW WATCHING YACHTS CRUISE BY. IT EXPENSIVE AND SO DOES THE RENT. VALET PARKING ONLY. THE STAFF WAS GGGGREAT

We usually like Louie's but last night the had cauliflower soup. The worse soup I have ever tasted! It tasted like gravy with corn. First it came out stone cold!!

BRUNCH MISFIRE New restaurant that my friend raves about and visits often. We tried their new Brunch today and it was a big disappointment. It is a lovely location and welcoming decor. When we arrived a steel kettle musician was playing nicely. The 30-something waiter talked a lot about his impressive experience at top flite eateries but it came out a bit condescending and arrogant. We ordered a peach Bellini and Mimossa which were only passible. We later learned that, absent a bartender, the waiters were making the drinks. Next we ordered their creamed corn (of Gulliver's and Ritz history) and it was WONDERFUL in taste but barely warm. For entre' I ordered Eggs Benedict which were classic and good. The special potatoes were cubed with peppers and strange things so went uneaten. There was also a pile of sweet-dressed salad that was nothing special. My friend ordered blue berry pancakes and the description included reference to ricotta cheese. Three small thin pancakes arrived with butter atop and no sign of Ricotta. When questioned, the waiter left and returned explaining that the Ricotta was in the batter! If it WAS in the batter, it was undetectable. Perhaps the waiters were cooking the meals as well as tending bar? We met the owner Pierro on the way out and shared that his BRUNCH needs some refining. He was receptive and appreciative. We don't recommend it now for Brunch, but feel optimistic that it will get better.
